I changed to the Beach Club even if I have to save save save to pay the difference, this makes up for not being able to take the cruise I was hoping for next year. Now I have a surprise for the kids, they will be so excited when we arrive!:D Thank you all for your help in changing my mind!

The BC looks so nice! I'm thinking of the BC or the YC for ESPN weekend next year :D

Mister E and I are leaning towards the Yacht Club, but I don't think you can go wrong with either one!

You are going to be so pleased with the Beach Club! It's such a beautiful resort. I know it's expensive (at least to me it is) but it is going to make your holiday so wonderful!

(Junior Mickey, the YC is a bit dark and can be somewhat gloomy. I know tons of folks really like it there, but that's my take on it. I prefer the open airy "ocean side" feel of the Beach club)! :D

I've been in Mickeymac's rooms at both and I perfered the YC. the BC was too much like "home" for me.

LOL! Exactly the reason I love it. Very reminiscent of Maine.

Good thing for the many choices at WDW, eh?

JM, we prefer the YC side - whenever I get into a BC/YC discussion where Tink is involved, I'm reminded of two little girls with similar dolls arguing over who's doll is prettier. They are both adorable, in their own rights, you just play whereever you are most comfortable.

MPH - I'm sooooooo happy to hear you swapped, and look forward to reading your trip report! :bounce: Be sure to plan time off when you book that resort - I make the HUGE mistake of not planning down time and miss the amenities there.

Will be staying at the BCV, (first time on site) in July so I'll let you know how I enjoyed it on my return.
It was the location that sold it to me - so handy to EPCOT, MGM, Boardwalk :)

Ooooh, I cant wait :D

I'm with you, Sister Tink . I loved the BC because of the homey enviorment . Reminds me of my childhood days at Cape May, NJ . Either one you pick, JM, will be great . I felt like I was in with the uppity ups . :hmph:
