Help! We've been back from WDW a week now and I'm still really tired. Over the weekend I thought I'd be ok even if I was still waking up at 1 in the morning and not going back to sleep until 4.00. Have any of guys got any ideas on how to beat this jetlag. I'm really struggling to stay awake today and I know if I go to sleep I'll be awake again most of the night.
I'm also the only one in the family who seems to be affected by it and I'm rapidly running out of matchsticks to hold my eyes open. thanx xx

I know how you feel Joleigh. I was exactly the same it took me about 2 weeks to get back to normal this time and I don't normally have any problems.
The only thing I can suggest is to set the alarm early in the morning and then going to bed late at night, if you do that for a couple of days and you should get back into routine.
The worst thing you can do is take a nap during the day or stay in bed in the morning, trust me I know

Last year I was the same and I normally don't suffer. Luckily when we come home I have another three weeks holiday before going back to work so I can sleep whenever but I was so tired. I started going to bed really late to try and get back into a normal sleep pattern and after a few days it seemed to do the trick.

I have been staying awake as long as I can normally about 10 or 11 o'clock. Last night it was easy because I was engrossed in LOST, and I was still awake during the night. I went back to sleep around 4ish and was up at 6.30 when DH went to work. I did drop off in the garden for 10 mins this afternoon (really naughty as the kids were in the house - but it hasn't burnt down thank god:lol: !) Guess it is just gonna take a few more days!!

Thank god! I feel normal again - I don't know wether it was the right thing to do but I've had a couple of large glasses of wine the last two nights :p hic!hic! and I slept like a log! Back to reality now - Its almost surreal to think that only 10 days ago we were in MK with Mickey and Co.. I have to look at the photos just to check that the holiday did happen and it wasn't all a dream!!
