I was lucky enough to get to see this movie during a premier tonight so I thought I would post my thoughts on it. I'm guessing Mister E will come along with his thoughs soon too :)

I have to admit it ranks up there of my favorite Pixar/Disney movies. It was cute, it was funny, the story was great and lots of fun. DON'T leave before the credits are all done! You'll miss a funny bit.

I highly recommend it for everyone! I hadn't laughed that much in a long time. Owen Wilson as Lightning McQueen was adorable. For a while I though that Sally was voiced by Ellen. Oops, it was Bonnie Hunt.

Guido ended up being my favorite character and throughout the movie I kept wondering where I had heard Mack's voice (John Ratzenberger). yeah, it became clear at the end of the movie :D

BIG fan of this movie. Probably my favorite Pixar production to date.

Guido is obviously the best character. I wanna get a toy Guido for my office! :)

I can not wait to see this movie. It looks excellent. I am sooooo jealous. Larry the Cable Guy is the tow truck I think.

I crack up laughing everytime I see the commercial on TV. My oldest son and daughter in law are coming to visit this month and I am trying to hold off to see it until he comes. He loves the Disney movies also. It will be something fun to do.

:hissy: and so it goes , I buy the tickets Tuesday for the 11:15 AM matinee . We arrive at 11 AM , no one in quenue . This will be nice, theathre to ourselves . We buy popcorn & soda $15.00 , go over to hand over our tickets and the guy says, Oh , I'm sorry, obviously no one told you , the movie was changed to 10:30 AM, OBVIOUSLY :rolleyes: oh I see you bought them on Tuesday they changed the time on Wednesday . :hissy:
At least, he refunded the four tickets, gave us readmission tickets for anytime and refunded us the snack fee . I don't know when I will have time to pop over and see it now, with my work schedule . I'm so, so disappointed ! :tears:

The girls are really excited about this movie...so...I guess we'll be taking them...NOT this weekend, but maybe Monday..after the crowds settle down.

Ahhh Tinker. What a huge dissapointment. :better: They should not be allowed to change the times if they have already sold tickets!:tut: How insane! :stick:
If you were closer I would say come with us tomorrow afternoon at 12:30 but it would take you awhile to get here.:wink: :hug:

It was great! We loved it. My son got a little antsy in the middle but both of my kiddos loved it. So did Mommy and Daddy :). The best part was as we were leaving my daughter Riley needed a potty break. So the boys waited outside for us. A cinema worker was moving a sign for cars. The HUGE ones. My husband asked what they do with them and he said we throw them away. My husband asked if me could have it and he said yes! So we drove home with this monstrosity of a poster on the top of the car. It's going in my sons room. He's going to be in heaven. I'll take a picture later, if we can fit it up the stairs! :)

As posted earlier, make sure you stay for the credits. Best part :)

We just got back from seeing Cars. I thought it would be cute because it was Pixar. I was wrong - This movie was GREAT!

We are definitely going to see it again. The CGI effects are awesome! The movie is soo funny - a great family movie that all will enjoy! Disney Pixar have done it again:)

We saw it on Sat. It was really good. I didn't care for the whole Nascar thing but otherwise i liked it a lot.

I'm not into Nascar, either . My son and alot of my friends watch it . I think it's boring watching cars go round and round . I know this isn't nice, but the best part of Nascar are the wrecks . :lol: With the exception of Dale Earnhardt, Sr . that was sad ! Anyway, I still want to see this movie . The commercials look cute . And it's Disney/Pixar . :thumbs::hehe:

Yeah that's how I feel about Nascar as well. The movie was good though. A lot of it reminded me of the Doc Hollywood movie with Michael J. Fox.

JM, I can see why you thought Sally's voice was Ellen . Reminded me alot of her as Dora . Thanks to you and Mister E for telling us to stay for the credits . I was cracking up . And I've never seen Doc Hollywood either, so looks like I'll be renting it over the weekend .

I didn't like it... I felt it lacked plot and I didn't like the whole thing being themed around Cars, because it was a bit too weird. The next Pixar movie looks good though... All in all, the short was better

My Favorite Guido moment was when he got dressed up for something. I can't remember what for some reason. He had the big colorful afro wig on. Good stuff :)
