Does anyone know what type of standard SUV's Alamo uses? It says Chevy Trailblazer or similar, but I know the car we rented last year wasn't at all what was listed on their site, just wondering what we have to look forward to driving.

They have a bunch of different vehicle types available. Last time we went, we had a Jeep.
are you Quicksilver members at all? If you are, you can pick your vehicle out of their quick rent aisle.

It works great Trish. We had booked with Budget last trip and they were okay, but we've cancelled our next 2 bookings with them and switched back to Alamo they're much more convenient after a long flight.

 Is that the same as the Alamo membership? I did do the prepay this year and I already checked-in online, so when we get there it is straight to the car and out we go, looking forward to this too, since we arrive in the evening this year and not the early am like usual, I don't want to stand in line iwth 3 tired kids.

We used Alamo last year and got a Pontiac Grand Prix it is a nice car but we could have used a bit more leg room for the kids, that is why I went wtih an SUV this year, after buying an SUV at home and loving it I didn't feel like giong back to my old minivan days. The car was fine during our stay though just a bit cramped when we added all of the luggage etc...
