As has been mentioned in the upcoming 'Year of a Million Dreams' celebration, the current Timekeeper location is being developed into a new Monsters Inc attraction and has the provisional title of ' The Laugh Floor Comedy Club'. It is likely to be a 'Turtle-Talk-esque' style attraction which centres around the fact that Mike, Sully and co discover that laughter is a better producer of energy than a childs scream and hence, interact with the audience in order to have the place roaring.
Thoughts?

I don't like it :sorry: I thought it was going to be a proper ride in the dark.

Ive yet to see Turtle Talk so im not really sure how the concept works, however there always seems to be a huge line for it so i guess its pretty popular. (btw, when they refurbed TTalk, could they not have sorted the quing area :resent: ) Details are still a bit sketchy so we'll wait and see with this one methinks :)
Meant to say, it's scheduled to open early 2007 (ish)

I love TT so depending on how this is done, it could be great

Why aren't they doing Monster's Inc like the one in Disneyland? You'd think they would build the same ride?

I wanted a ride with doors
When I first watched the film both DH and I wondered if the doors scene had been put in just so they could make a ride from it.

When you get to the doors part in DL it's soo cool. (should've snuck a pix!) There are doors every where overhead and all around. Mirrors are reflected more and more doors. Really cool but over with too fast!

:iagree:
I don't get a show with this.. Just like how I don't get the Finding Nemo Musical. But I suppose it's a little more in place, since laughings the source of energy  we'll see eh?

Hmmm. A comedy club? Interesting concept...and from Disney's prospective...probably much more economical than building a ride...I love TT w/Crush, but I think two attractions of this nature might be a bit...overdone.
Having said that, Andrew will probably love it.

I think Crush is awesome, and my kids are amazed that he chats with them.....
perhaps that with something else would be a good combination...
better than a closed area that isnt being used for anything anymore...
