I keep on staring at the Imagineering Section, sadly empty, and decided that I'm going to do something about it. Again. So without further ado---

UPDATE: Have I told anyone about my Pocahontas ride? If not, I have worked really hard on it in the past year... and I've actually gotten somewhere... Here it goes!!!

Preshow/housing is yet to be decided

This is ROUGHLY how the show goes (in first person):
The sun in shining and suddenly, I'm outside! The skys are cloudless, and match the endless water stretching before me. Doves are flying randomly as I board a hollowed out canoe, whilst watching a huge ship being boarded. The canoe is wood and has marking on it simmular to those as the end of the movie when the crdits are playing. We ride forward. The loading dock is playing "In sixteen hundred seven, we sail the open sea..."

We turn a corner to find we're in a HUGE thunder storm. Our boat is getting tossed all around. We're afraid of hitting the big boat. Lightning is coming down on us. The wind is heavy and unhappy.

The storm melts away, the lighting is now purply blue. I hear "ay un ay hun yuppie yeah yeah uh yuppie yay yaya yah how" (You know what song I mean... don't lie)A group of Indians are kayaking around me. The birches have different colors reflectink on them. I go through the trees shaped like a V and find myself next to Nicoma "Pocahontas, come down here, your fathers back." "He's back Flit" Pocahontas takes a dive into the water.

We turn yet another corner to see Pocahontas (hence forth refered to as Poca), talking to her father. "Marry Kokum, but he's so serious." [can't read what I wrote in my jornal, but it was a lead into....] "What I love most about rivers is, you can't step in the same river twice...." Poca sings getting into her kayak and joining us in our quest. "The waters always changeing always flowing, but people can't live like that," we pass by and see Flik and turtles. "What's around the riverbend." We turn a corner [yes I know, shutup] "I looker once more" we encounter a waterfall, going under it, Just around the riverbend, beyond the shore" reapids spash us around "Where the gulls fly free." gulls flock pass us. "Why do all my dream extend Just around the riverbend?" Water calms down. "I feel it there beyond those trees, and right behind these waterfalls [YES MY SEQUENCING IS MESSED UP, I wrote this in my lunch period, reference wasn't avaliable to me] we float around this beautiful area filled with trees and animals curiously popping their heads out to look at us. Otter splash over us. We travel under a waterfall. Beavers building dams. The water becomes unnervingly calm as we approach a fork in the river. " Or do you still, wait for me, dream giver, just around the riverband." We choose the rough part.

After a quick trip, we find Gramother Willow. She lifts her vines for us in a curtain like fashion. Poca is sitting on the stump in front of Gram. "quay quay na tu ra, you will understand, listen with your heart you will understand." you travel up a bit to hear poca saying 'Clouds, strange clouds, whilst getting a glimps of them yourself.

We experience a sudden dip in the ground, only to find ourselves rising upwards. "Mine, mine, mine for the taking," All around us are settlers, mining. Dirt is flying over our heads. Near the top, we see Radcliffe, all pumped up and pompus, singing at the top of his lungs.

We turn yet another corner [any suggestions to avoid this?] John Smith is blowing on his gun, we are also viewing the backside of a waterfall [BEAT THAT JUNGLE CRUISE!] John jumps out behind the waterfall, at the same time we lurch forward under the water. We see John lower his gun at Poca's beauty. He steps forward, she runs away.

The rest hopefully should be posted on Thursday. PLEASE REVIEW!!!!!

Sounds good, for the 'no corners idea' each part could be running, but blacked out, and only the part your are riding on, is lit up.
or a 'screen' which is themed to the 'part' of the ride you are on, which lifts up?

I see what you mean, like in Haunted Manion, but I really want this to have an open aired outdoory feel to it. I don't get your last explantion.. can you explain slower, I don't speak British :D

Sounds like a GREAT ride. We would so go on it. You know you gotta have some corners to make it fit. Would that one go in AK?

OIC, that would be good placement also. Hadn't thought about there. Either way, you need to make it a FastPass ride, cause it's gonna be full!!

i mean,
where you are in say the 'scene 1' area. then there is a screen covering the 'scene two area' that looks like it is 3D (like the pictures in MGM) and when you enter into the 'scene 2' area, lifts up (maybe there can be something to distract everyone while it opens)
and you are in 'scene 2'

I would love it to be in Frontierland to bring back the Indian history that got thrown away due to political incorrectness >>
