I was too late for thanksgiving!!

We were so caught up in our summer trip that we never paid attention to the time and forgot to book our trip for November/December. :oops:
I called this am and our first three choices are completely booked for our dates.:(

DH really wants to go on those dates because they don't interfere with DS's soccer schedule. He also really wanted to stay at BCV or BWV. We are throwing around the idea of paying cash for our November trip and banking the points for a big summer trip next year. So here are my questions:

1. If you are a DVC member but are booking cash reservations- is it better to do it yourself online or book through the DVC.

2. How does the AP discount work now and if we book ourselves or through DVC can we get the AP discount applied later?

3. Does the DVC still offer discounts on AP? Our AP is due to be renewed right when we go.

Where do you want to stay on cash, at a DVC resort or somewhere else? :unsure:

If you want to stay at a DVC resort, you would be best making a cash reservation through member services with the 25% discount as it is usually more of a discount than an AP rate booking through CRO would be. You can also book the dining plan on cash ressies without having to buy a 'package'.

If you are staying elsewhere, you would be best booking through regular CRO and applying the code when it's released. Yes, you can still get a discount on your AP! :thumbs:
