Hotwire for car rental

Just wanted to inform anyone that is looking for a car rental in Tampa that I just got a killer deal @ Hotwire. I got a compact car for 8 days for a total of $212.00 including tax!!!! :D
We booked $44 flights to Tampa and will drive to WDW, it's only about a 1 hour drive, for that kind of price, we can deal with it. :wink:

I got 11 days in orlando, using National Emerald club, and get a mid-full size car for $215:D sept 21- oct. 1:D

We weren't going to rent a car but with good deals like that maybe it'll be worth it to pay the extra $100. Can't stand waiting for busses and know DH will last about 1 day waiting for the bus!

I would always get a car especially after our daughter's experience. She was determined not to have one and stay in a resort - the story is here (http://www.more-floridavillas.com/visitor-information/accommodation/the-resort-prisoner.html). It represents freedom and flexibility - full stop.

rosie i'd recommend having a car every day of the week, so much more flexibility, as john mentioned :)
