In the past we have always done CRT for breakfast and I am considering CRT for Lunch this time. I just want confirmation it is the princess meal. Also, is the lunch food any good and since they came out with the lunches is it still hard to get CRT ressies?

I've not done lunch yet but I have it booked for october. It IS a princess meal. I believe ressies are not as hard to come by but we rang 145 days in advance and over a whole 2 week period all we could get was one cancellation for lunch which we took.

We've got this booked for this year for Breakfast. Have tried for the last couple of years with no luck. Suppose I could have tried harder, by phoning nearer the time to see if there were any cancellations, but never did
Anyway we're really looking forward to it this year, will be a long day though as we've got the day when EMH are on. Very long day eh! :rotfl:

We did the CRT lunch in January...it wasn't too hard to get then, but it may have been pretty new. The menu was limited, but had a good variety - I think there were 8 or so choices of main course. I think I had a pasta dish, I do remember that I did like whatever it was I had. The kids had the usual chicken fingers I think and my sister had liked whatever it was that she had, too.

We did the lunch last week and really enjoyed it. The food isn't fantastic but it was enjoyable. We had a plate of cheese, cold meats and fruit to share as a starter plus one for DS. There's a choice of four main courses and two desserts. The new addition of the Wishing Star ceremony is a nice touch but Cinderella now doesn't come to the meal but meets visitors in the entrance to the Castle. The Fairy Godmother visits instead. You also meet Aurora, Snow White and Belle.

Each child is given a small star which lights up. Towards the end of the meal the Fairy Godmother takes centre stage with a loud fanfare and all the children have to stand up. The girls wave their magic wands and boys their swords (they have been given these on entry which they then keep) The Fairy Godmother has everybody saying Bibbidi Bobbidi etc with loads of pixie dust and all the kids switch their Wishing Stars on. It's really magical and everyone makes a wish. It just adds something special to the meal and lasts about five minutes.

This new wishing star ceremony sounds really nice. I wish Cinderella still vistited the kids at the table though. I wonder if she will begin doing that again.
KerryAtter I don't know if they do that at dinner time. I doubt it since its not a character meal in the evenings. I could be wrong though:shrug:

Oooooh! I hope they do it during the evening meal! My daughter would love this!
When I booked the evening dinner they said that even though it's not classed as a character meal they do have some of the characters there and they do 'a programme' - whatever that means? So maybe they will do it :fingers:
I have just emailed Disney to see if they can tell me... will let you know what they say
