In, all of a sudden, a great recent track record of great sports movies (Remember the Titans, The Rookie, Glory Road) Disney has done it again with "Invincible". The true story of Vincent Papale, an out of work teacher and part time bartender, who made the 1976 Philadelphia Eagles by an open tryout by then new head coack Dick Vemeil.

This movie was excellent and what timing by Disney marketing to open right before the NFL season. The acting was great and you really felt about what people were going through in the tough times of the mid 70's. Another thing that stood out in this movie was the music. On of the best soundtracks I have heard in some time. Here is a list of the music:

1. I Got A Name - Jim Croce
2. Funk No. 49 - The James Gang
3. Let It Ride - Bachman-Turner Overdrive
4. Drift Away - Dobie Gray
5. How Long - Ace
6. Let's Work Together - Canned Heat
7. Feelin' Alright - Grand Funk Railroad
8. Free Ride - Edgar Winter Group
9. Mandolin Wind - Rod Stewart
10. Fooled Around And Fell In Love - Elvin Bishop
11. I Just Want To Celebrate - Rare Earth
12. Stranglehold - Ted Nugent
13. Do You Know What I Mean? - Lee Michaels

If you see any sport movie or buy a soundtrack this year, make sure you check this one out.

My parents saw this movie and really enjoyed it. I think it also looks good and will probably rent it.
