Hi
Just found out today that we are now booked with the DME instead of the Mears shuttle for our transport to and from the airport.
This is new to me can anyone that has used it tell me what it is all about.
Thanks

Well, with DME you aren't going to have to get your luggage :D It'll be delivered to your room. I recommend bring a small bag with a change of clothes with you just in case there is a delay with the bags

That sounds good. But how do they know to take your bags and where to send them. Also how long does it take them to deliver them.
Thanks

They send luggage tags to US residents. Not sure about international visitors. I'm sure there is some system, though.
Expect 3 to 4 hours for luggage to be delivered to your room. The only time people seem to have issues is if they don't use the DME luggage tags.
Pack a carry-on with the things you will need for the day/evening. You should be able to pull toiletries from your checked bag after you go through customs and place them in the bag you're carrying on the DME with you.

Pay close attention to your paperwork when it comes. Ours included a certificate to turn in for a free gift at the resort gift shop!:D
