You've been to Florida before, don't waste your time at welcome meetings. If you work it out for my family, our holiday costs $15 per hour, I am not about to waste 3 - 4 hours as they try to sell me tickets and tell me about stuff I already know. You will lean more reading around these forums than they can ever tell you - and best of all the opinions here are without commercial bias.

If you want to get up early on your first morning - go hot air ballooning - superb.

I really dislike those sorts of meetings! :( I fell for it in Hawaii, and lost an entire morning. The presentation was really hard sell and really made me uneasy.

Won't go to another one again. Nope. :nono:

Another one in agreement unless you were already going shopping at Festival Bay in which case pop along, ask them to give you your handouts and then walk away.

There are so many places to find info and you're unlikely to book one their excursions so don't make a special trip. Some companies try and tell you that you have to attend the whole session to get your 'free' meal or voucher book. Usually they're not worth worrying about - get an orlando magicard instead or pick up the local fee tourist guides and you'll get similar discounts.
