Stupid question alert! Sorry
What exactly is Twilight checkin and do all airlines and airports offer it?
I don't really know much about this - We fly with TCD from Manchester, will we be able to do it?
Thanks

Hi I think TCD do it - i'm not to sure:D my friend flew with tcd a couple weeks ago and said something about checking in her luggage the day before!. I know Virgin do it - if you can do it - go for it. Even though you have to travel to the Airport its so much easier to do it.
You get your boarding pass so all you have to do is go to the airport the next day and go straight through to final departures.

I believe First Choice offers that option for Manchester ~ if you can do it then my advice is ....DO IT!!! :D It is a really great option and takes out a huge amount of stress from your day of travel:wink: ALL THE BEST!!!

Have used this with Virgin from Gatwick as we don't live too far away. Basically, you check in your luggage as if you were about to fly (and everyone who is in your party must be there) and you are given boarding passes. The following day, you turn up at the airport much later than you would normally have to and go straight through passport control.
It's great if you have kids as the whole travel to Orlando thing is very long and if you can take away a couple of hours hanging around the airport then it all helps.

Just flew with TCD 10th Sept from Gatwick, they offered the twilight check in F.O.C.
It starts at 16.30 and the location/desk varies normally close to the excell/TCD desk.
Get there early as we were there at 15.30 and were 5th in que and it still took 1.5 hours to check in.
From there no worries your luggage is gone. Turn up at the airport the next day, luggage free and go through security.
Just remember the stuff you will need the next day and remember the security restrictions on liquids and potions we had to take two travel bags and leave the hotel bag in the car.

Thanks guys. I don't think we'd have bothered with doing Twilight Checkin anyway as it wouldn't really be worth travelling all the way up to Manchester twice (I suppose it'd have worked if we'd have stayed in a hotel and there weren't any restrictions on cosmetics etc)
Never mind - thanks anyway!
