Manchester/Airport

We are travelling from Glasgow and neither of us drive and require to stay in Manchester the night before our flight as leaves early morning.

I am looking to see if anyone knows of a cheap method to get from Glasgow to Manchester and a cheap hotel in the Manchester Airport area (needless to say its only to sleep in so nothing lavish)

there is a travelodge mins away from the airport by taxi, some times there ghave an offer on when its £26 a night. Its a new hotel and the bar and restaurant there are really nice :thumbs:

As regards the cheap method of travel from Glasgow to Manchester, have you tried looking at the advance train tickets online? I'm not sure, but I think you can book 12 weeks in advance, and you can get some really really cheap deals, especially if you don't travel peak time :thumbs: Try looking on the trainline website, and check some sample prices a few weeks ahead.

You Dont say which company you have booked your holiday with, if you are travelling with Virgin you may find that you can get discount rail travel, if you are with Virgin give them a ring.
