What time to get to airport

Our (Me,Wife,DS4,andDD9)plane leaves at 930am on the sunday after thanksgiving form PHL, Pa(USAir). My question is, if we get to the airport at 730am is that enough time to check the bags and get to the gate. We have never been to this airport before. My wife is driving me crazy. She is afraid we will get bumped and lose a day in the happiest place on earth. Is this fear founded or not? We have a 1.5hr drive to the airport, and i really don't want to leave any earlier then we are. Staying near the airport is way to expensive. Thanks for your help. 6 days and counting.

You could be looking at security lines of an hour or more in Philly. I hate that airport. If I remember correctly, you are flying US Air, they have their own terminal as Philly is one of their hubs but it can be quite a hike from security if you have one of the far gates.

Also - be sure to check in online. You can then do the bags at a self-serve terminal, HOPEFULLY saving time.

They say that 2 hours for domestic and 3 hours for international should be sufficient. On a Sunday morning I would think that 2 hours should be fine but I certainly would not cut it any closer than that.

The only thing I'd worry about above the normal 2 hours is that it's a heavy travel day due to Thanksgiving weekend
