Question from a friend

she wants wireless internet, but doesn't have a main PC.
There will be 3 laptops in the house, one of them connects to the phone line, the others want to be wireless.
her provider is talktalk.
What router/modem should she get? she has a speedtouch modem already, she doesn't know the model of it :rolleyes:

That one is really good in my experience. Easy to setup, keeps the line up better than others and is quiet/fast. Doesn't need a main pc, just attach to the line, setup and you'll have wireless throughout the house

Nut, you should try staples, they have a great discount table sometimes it has PC's on for about 1/2 price, usually ex-display or returned with no faults, they still come with the usual guarentee i think.
The laptops are usually about 3/4 of the price, or a bit less.
