Either a cab or for Sea World, take the Lynx bus from the TTC to the stop just outside Sea World....take a look at this thread (http://wdisneyw.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47039&highlight=Lynx) for more info on that

you can get a cab from disney to sea world and int drive, if you want to get a bus you take the disney transport to the TTC and pick a bus there
if you where asking me for my opinion i personally always hire a car as i find it easier for me to get around, others will say how wonderful the cabs and buses are

Lynx route #50 travels from the Transportation & Ticket Center in front of Magic Kingdom to Sea Harbor Drive/Central Florida Parkway/Sea World.
Here is the route map:

It'll take time, or money depending on which route you decide to go, but Disney does not provide transport to offsite location with the exceptions of the Airport and Cruise Port for DCL

I don't drive either Dan, we got taxis to Universal, which was very easy!
I looked into the Lynx option but it was easy just to grab a taxi.
Disney buses will get you around Disney with no trouble though!

The lynx option can be very time consuming - I tried it once but it just took too much time out of my holiday waiting and travelling on buses.
To save a little bit of money, get a bus to Downtown Disney and then get a taxi from there. It will take a few miles (and dollars) of off the cab cost. For shopping I'm not sure why you would want to go to I-Drive unless you want Belz. Nearer to WDW are the Premium Outlets which have most of the big names and also the smaller LBV Outlets. If you do want to go to I-Drive and want to save some cash, get a cab to Sea World and then jump on the I-Ride buses which go up and down I drive for a very small fare (not sure what it is currently but it used to be around $1 a trip).
Disney do arrange transport to other parks and attractions if needed - ask reception when you get there for details.

I prebooked my cabs with quicksliver (we stayed at the movies) I did an itinerary before we went to work out what days we wanted to go to universal/ioa/seaworld/discovery cove. I knew how much the cab would cost as greg emailed me with confirmation of the booking and the cost. We had a Cadalac Escillade(sp) as there were 7 of us and it cost $110.00 without tip for the round trip. It sounds expensive but the cab was booked at set times there and back, they were prompt, courteous, and extremely good looking!!!!!!
Hope this helps
