Hi all,
Will be going to BGT the first time during the third week in Feb. with my husband and boys 10 and 12. Any info on what I just MUST see would be helpful. The boys will love the rides and I will probably go on a few myself. My hubby can't tolerate anything past a small adult coaster, so he'll do a lot of "bag holding". He's OK with that as long as he can sit somewhere comfortable and people watch. He thoroughly enjoys doing this at the Disney parks and we can leave him for an hour or two. He will actually bring a book to read. Will he be happy people watching at BG ?? Are there comfortable places to sit, plesant surroundings, relative quiet ( parts of Universal he found too loud and crowded, and hated it )??
Fortunately, we will all enjoy the animal parts of the park. I've read alot about the tours and am wondering how close do you get to the animals without the tours? I don't think it will be very crowded at the park when we are there (except for the Monday Presidents' Day holiday), so seeing things shouldn't be a problem, but are the animals mostly far off in the distance? Can you see them from the train ride ? from the safari truck ride? Besides feeding giraffes, which everyone mentions, what other animals do you have direct contact at on the tours??
Any reccomendations on where to eat in the park would also be appreciated. Hope this wasn't too much to read for everyone.
Thanking you all in advance.
