footwear at Discovery Cove

booked to go to DC in feb and we're not sure what to wear on our feet.
once you're in the park can you walk round bearfoot or do you need to have trainers/flip flops?

I wore my reef's. Alot of sand so bare feet should be fine :thumbs: . They have lockers for you to put things in.

I think I just walked around bare foot. You're in and out of the water all the time :)

I went in bare feet and flip flops but my kids wore Kooshies surf shoes

I was barefoot the whole day, but I think surf shoes would be a good idea. To be honest, I found some of the rocks quite sharp when swimming around, so something to protect your feet would be worthwhile.

I'm going to buy some surf shoes to go to DC...

It stems from scraping my foot at a waterpark when I was younger - I still have the scar!! Taking no chances :D

Do they sell any cheapie ones in Walmart?

I took a chunk off skin off my big toe in the swimming pool n now have a big scare n everytime i was at pakrs it reopened :huh: so this year am not lettin it do that so surf shoes are gonna be the best for me and i hate tryin to run into the shade when the ground is all warm n burning :(
