Bedroom Question

We are close to buying a DVC resale but are unsure of how many points to go for at this time.

:confused: We are a family of 5, with 3 kids aged 11,9 and 7. Would a one bedroom be sufficient for our holiday before the kids get any bigger and would disney allow this??

Maximum occupancy of a one bed unit is 4 people plus a child under 3 in a crib so you would need to look at enough points for a 2 bed :sorry:

I think I remember reading somewhere that the 1 bedrooms at AKL will have a max occupancy of 5 plus one child in a crib. Can anyone confirm this?

The announcement I received about AKL Villas said five people (that is the standard four plus the under three year old).

As Alec said, you'll need the two bedroom, or two studios (which could be less points depending...).

However, having the two bedroom is wonderful. You will have two bathrooms too! A full size laundry (not in the studio) full kitchen, and could have a second separate entrance if you request a "lockout" for the two bedroom.
