Hello all!!!
It's been awhile, but with my last trip to Disney, moving countries, getting engaged and just returning from a trip to Africa, there hasn't been alot of time, go figure!
Well, now I'm back in the swing of things and looking for your advice.
Obviously, we want to include Disney in our honeymoon plans, and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on which resorts would offer something a little more romantic. I'll be honest, our previous trips has mostly been go,go,go with little time for anything else.
Any advice on which resort(s) offer the best atmosphere, relaxation, etc. would be fantastic. I think I have an idea, but as always, it's great to hear from others! :D :D :D
Thanks in advance
~L

I haven't done a Disney Wedding or Honeymoon but IMHO it would be tough to beat either the Grand Floridian or the Polynesian.

As with everything, it depends upon what you enjoy most. I love the BC, so by default, that would be romantic to me. I love the pool there, and the theme, the staff, everything.

if a deluxe isn't in your budget, I'd recommend POR, I think it's the most romantic of the Mods (in the Mansions section)

 I absolutely agree. Of the deluxes any would be lovely but for the mods POR without a doubt.

I agree also with Beach Club and Grand Floridian if you want to stay at a Deluxe and Port Orleans for a moderate.

Beach Club is where Mrs. SM and I spent our first two nights of our honeymoon before going across the pond to Paris and Rome

DH and I stayed at Old Key West for our honeymoon. We had one of the one bedroom suites. It was very nice because there was a nice relaxing hot tub there as well. It's a nice quiet resort but watch out for golf balls whizzing by while you are out on the deck. We sat many mornings (we had a two week stay) eating breakfast out there. I have a trip report about it in the trip reports section of the website (not the message boards). One thing I recommend is to get the bride and groom hats and make sure you tell EVERYONE that it's your honeymoon. I threatened my husband that I was going to staple it to his head.

For a romantic dinner, we really enjoyed LeCellier in Canada. A lot of people recommend the restaurants at Grand Floridian but LeCellier is a nice place too and a little less expensive.

Happy Planning!!
