Hi folks,
Just wondering if anyone her ehas got married at the yacht club wedding gazebo ,and what they thought? Other half and I are getting married there next May, very excited!
A few questions for people re weddings- does Disney do Dinner bookings for you, or do you have to do them yourself? Can they transfer a bag between hotels for changing etc? (I'm staying at AKL!). Also, has anyone every done a firewroks cruise, and what are they like? And how does the new honeymoon registry work?
Sorry- huge list of questions there! Perhpas people could let me know?
Thanks
Katie

If it's an intimate/Escape wedding, Disney won't do dinner bookings for you :( You will need to do them yourself.
Anyone who is transferring between Disney Resorts can have their bags transferred for free  Just call bell services like you would when you're checking out, and tell them you're transferring to another resort. They'll whisk your bags away and reunite them with you later that afternoon at your new resort
We've done the Grand Gatherings fireworks cruise which was fab. You get desserts and cookies first at the Contemporary, then get on the boat where you're entertained by a pirate. You also get to meet Peter Pan and Captain Hook :Pirate:
Also done the Grand 1 Yacht cruise which was amazing :wow: View of fireworks is great and you get the Wishes music played into the boat :fworks:
Not done an Epcot fireworks cruise, but believe they're good :)
HTH!

Congrat's!! The Yacht club gazebo sounds lovely! :)
If you're asking about transferring a bag just on your wedding day (like from the Yacht club where you got ready) I'm not sure if they would do that for you. Ask your wedding coordinator. Probably that would be your responsibility to remove all your belongings. But maybe they'd treat it like regular luggage.
I did the Wishes cruise also in front of the MK. It was very nice and romantic and the "captain" was very knowledgeable and easygoing. I would reccomend this!
Ooo, tell us more about your wedding! What's the date and who's going?

You should have lovely weather for that time of year, but don't disregard the fact that it will be warm. Very warm. Maybe hot. Indoors will of course be under A/C.
Nice month to marry! :D
