Hi
We are still looking into this Disney Wedding thing and its now down to either Cyprus or Florida .
We are going to Disney first two weeks in September , and are hoping to have a look at the various locations options etc whilst we are there .
Is it possible whilst we are there to arrange a quick tour of the disney locations etc , would Disney do this if we contacted them before we went ? We love the look of the wedding pavillion , although there would probably on be the two of us there or maybe 2 or 3 guests . It would just be the intimate wedding , probably via Virgin .
Or alternatively is it possible to do a self-tour of the various wedding options , how easy is this , we dont want to get in the way of anybody else who maybe getting married there.
Many Thanks for your help

I don't know about the arranged tour, but you can certainly go to the locations and have a look yourselves. Of course, if there is a wedding taking place you'd have to wait (for the pavillion) to see inside. Many of the other sites are outdoors, so you could see them without disturbing anyone who may be having their ceremony. Would give you a good idea if some were getting married at the time!
Disney does lovely weddings. We've had a number of people here get married there, from intimate weddings through to many guests.
There will be more folks to come and share their experiences with you soon!

AFAIK you can arrange to meet with someone from Disney Fairy Tale Weddings and view different venues.
If not, you can see all of the intimate ones yourself. Only one that may be tricky is the Wedding Pavilion. But if you go there and look at the board outside you'll see what weddings and rehearsals are taking place that day, and arrange your visit according to that.
I'd strongly recommend booking direct with Disney rather than through Virgin :)
We booked through Virgin and had a pre arranged meeting with our Disney wedding coordinator to view the pavillion etc.
We had a fantastic experience with both Virgin and Disney. Virgin are not too good this side but in resort they are wonderful.
Please ask any q's you may have.

If I was you I'd just go and be nosy- I've commissioned a friend on mine who's going out there in September to go and be nosy at the Yacht Club gazebo where the other half and I are getting married next May.
Having ploughed through Disney's terms and conditions recently I'd give a word of warning with the Wedding Pavilion- as you will be a very small party they move you out to a little rose arbour just behind the pavilion- this looks lovely but if you really want to be inside forwhatever reason then its worth cnosidering. Also, you can only book the pavilion 8 months in advance whilst you can bok all the over sites a year in advance. And Disney open pre-bookings for custom weddings for the big pavilion a year in advance, so if you want a weekend or popular time of day you may well not get it. Having said that, it may all be fine. All the Disney locations look gorgeous, and our Disney wedding coordinators have so far been lovely. So good luck!
