Sorry just noticed we have talked about this before.....but I think its getting worse

Look at this its crazy!!! Search Fastpasses on ebay (http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=fastpasses&category0=). People are selling some of them for around $300! We were looking at one ladies sales and she has made around $3,000 from selling fastpasses!!

My brother said Disney has learned that people are making fakes so they are getting ready to change the way they do fastpasses. And I think these are fake. My dad has been asking the people selling them about where they got them and even if they were fake. they have sent him back saying they got them from another "individual" one guy even said he gives the money he makes to charity.

These people know that what they are doing is wrong because they say "to be legal I am selling you a white envelope with a bonus prize of 15 disney fastpasses." Or they are selling a pin, but they hardly mention the pin

My dad has sent ebay a email and also is going to I think write Disney so that they know. Is this insane or what!

This makes no sense whatsoever. Fastpasses are clearly printed with a date and time on them. Anyone who bought them would be a fool.

These actually can be used. When a ride brakes down they sometimes give a rentry fastpass to all who are in line, and they look like those. But no one should have that many. Unless you got them from a castmember

Just found the auctions, as you said, they were given to them when a ride broke down or to reward the guest for any other inconvenience, they probably were a big group. I still would not get them :nono:

I just don't really see the need for them. I mean you can get fastpasses for free!! I wish these gullible people would do some more research (or come find the UOG!!) before they would bid on such things!!
Just really shows you how much help first-timers (especially from different countries) need.

Too bad disney does not print the date issued and it is good for so many days. Some people will buy just about anything off ebay

And the person who is selling an e book on tips to get a 'magical moment' kind of takes away the 'magic' part if you have it all worked out before and are stalking a member of the dream team :sigh:

stalking a member of the dream team won't get you anywhere. It's a timing thing. I read about a kid (9 years old) who won a trip to France because she sat on the right bench at DTD at the right time
