Stars and Motor Cars parade being replaced

A new parade is scheduled to start in March 2008. Block Party Bash is the name and apparently the same parade at Disneyland's California Adventure.

Why is everything starting in March ! Aquatica, now this :rolleyes: but if we can afford DL, I'll see it anyway . If not, it's back to WDW, not that I'm complaining, mind you . :lol:

March can't come soon enough, looking forward to seeing something new :wink: although really enjoyed Stars and Motor Cars :D

Why is everything starting in March

Gives operations departments a chance to test everything just before and during Spring Break, like a test run. After Spring Break the parks get a break which gives them time to adjust before the Summer crowds.

I really liked Stars in Motor Cars but it will be brilliant to have something new to look forward to next year :D

I am looking forward to the MGM parade in January as I have never seen it!! Never seen the Ak or the EP parades either .... this trip will be the trip of seeing parades :)

We don't do parades.....kids would rather ride than sit and watch...but they are older...the ONLY parade we do is Spectromagic! We saw the Electric Light Parade once....
