Rockin Roller Coaster Rehab

Apparantely the rockin roller coaster is to shut down for rehab 4th sept 2007 till 4th oct 2007. :(

:eek: Nooooooooooooooooooooo. i thought it was to good to be true that there wouldnt be any rehab's when we go. It was my first time on it last year and was really looking forward to riding it again :(

I dont think its confirmed yet John. I have just heard it through another on line guide. I put this thread up in the hope someone would come along and tell me im talking rubbish. But i think it is quite a strong rumour.

:yes: My DB said there was going to be a rehab in Sept. He was going to come home then but he trained for Fantasmic, TOT, and Beauty & the Beast so now he can pick up hours there.....

I don't mean to be over emotional here but that is the worst news ever of all time. This was clair and my fave ride on our last holiday and now for our honeymoon it's closed for the whole time.

I feel exactly the same about BTMRR which is closed all the time we are at WDW in October :sigh:

I guess they have to do refurbs sometime :sigh:

I am so glad someone else said this! Me and my boyfriend are really sad about it being shut :( And I thought we were just being big sillies, but at least I know now we are not the only ones to be upset by it.

I've been trying to think of something that I can do to cheer my boyfriend up about it - mentioned going to IOA or Busch Gardens but he said "It's not the same" and you know what... he is right!!

Oh well.. look at it this way - its another reason to go back next year :)

We were lucky last year and didn't have any big rehabs when we were there, and like Lisa says, its gotta be done at some point.

If they do close the shop i'm pretty sure they'll still have merchandise on a cart or in one of the other main shops. :)

I see they are opening it in time for me. I've never been on it because my DH just won't do it. I'm going on it as a single rider this time. :D

I can't wait to ride it. I almost got on it in 2001 when our sons came to Florida with us. But then my son didn't feel well so we had to give it a miss.
