Hi
I just got my car hire voucher from holiday autos today and the car hire company they have used is ALAMO, who are pretty good. But im just checking their office is onsite isnt it? Or do I have to go to another building like Usave?

Im flying into sanford, I normally go to MCO but not this time! Would be grateful if someone could let us know if there is a desk in the airport for them.

Ive just read I need a credit card in my name which I dont have, do you think they would let me use my fiancee's card? If not ive gotta leave a $100 per week cash desposit! :(

I am not sure about whether alamo are onsite at Sanford as I've never used them there. However, I am sure that it's common policy for car-hire firms to insist on a card in the driver's name or you have to leave some form of security with them. They may allow your GF to use her card in the US but I know that in GB & Dublin they will not. I'm sure someone else will come along soon and advise you.

Katie :)

Alamo are indeed on site at Sanford. And almost every car rental company in the US requires a credit card in the driver's name. I'm surprised they will let you off with just $100/week deposit. Is the rental paid in full already?

The card has to be in the driver's name. I ran into that when Miracle and I were in DC - Alamo swaped the driver to her (no biggie for us)
