Disney Looking For A Few Good Moms And Dads

The resort wants 12 family vacation experts to take part in the first-ever Walt Disney World Mom's Panel, although
dads can apply, too. It is an online forum in which parents who have already experienced a day at the parks with kids can lend their advice to those considering a visit.

"It's going to be a place where guests who are planning their first vacation to Disney World, or maybe they haven't been here for a while and they just aren't sure about everything that is going on, they can go there and get advice from other real families who've been here and totally get the real Disney World experience," said Leanne Jakubowski, of Walt Disney World.

Oct. 5 is the deadline to apply.

I got a reply back saying the usual "Thanks for your application etc etc etc." I'm really excited about this. :lol:

I applied but I bet they are flooded with applications. Boy wonder who has the job of reading thru them all! Well hopefully I will get an email just saying we got the application! I sure hope someone on the site gets picked that would be great!!

There really are a lot of Mom's out there who love Disney...you know...I could tell because of all the strollers at the parks!

It would be fantastic if someone from this site got chosen, but who do you think knows the most stuff that Disney are looking for? Lots of people on this site know lots about different stuff, kind of everyone has got their speciality if you know what I mean?:thumbs:

I would think they would choose moms who are very different in thier answers, they need mom s who have little ones ones, all the baby stuff of intrest, moms dealing with teens :rolleyes: then moms who have been on alot of tours, I think there should be grandmoms to give a view from takinmg grandkids with you, moms with special needs kids ... it will be exciting to see what moms make the panel! If they called me I would probably be so excited i would just babble "disney oh i love it" and repeat that over and over :lol:
