My boyfriend and I are traveling to disney for the first time in January 2008. I am so afraid of being left in the park without means of transportation back. I was checking some sites and they said that the WISHES fireworks show begins at 8pm, but the official disneyworld site states that the park closes at that time. Do the buses provide transportation much long after?
Also, is there a bus/monorail/boat that connects the theme parks to eachother. we are planning on going to animal kingdom on our first day, but would like to head over to downtown disney for dinner. is there something that connects the two?
Thanks so much! I know I sound like i am hopeless..lol

yep, even though they officially say the park closes at 8 and wishes may be on that time, the busses run till an hour after (but more realistically, they dont ever let people stand around stranded even 2 hours after closing so don't worry)
There MAYBE monorails/boats but depends where you need to get back to

to get to DTD from a park you'll have to go to a resort and catch a bus/boat from there. There are no busses from the parks directly to DTD

Could they catch the bus to DTD from the TTC also?

Not that I know of since that's "MK" and the transfer to other parks. Too many people were taking advantage of the free parking at DTD and making it hard for those actually visiting to find parking

Wishes starts when the park closes. The closing time for the park is when all of the ride and attraction lines are cut off. Anyone still in line will be able to ride or attend attractions (some rides and attractions do however shut down earlier than park closing). View Wishes from Main Street and explore the shops right after the show to avoid the crowds leaving.
Buses from every Theme Park travel to all the resorts (except for MK with resorts having monorail access) and to all the other Theme Parks. There are some times where the Theme Parks have access to DTD, but sometimes you need to head to a resort and then to DTD.
