hi folks just wanted your opinions on where to get married! we'll be going for 3weeks 2weeks will be with all the famly 1week just me jo&zak! the family will be staying at wyndham i-drive which has lovely wedding locations so we could stay there and get married then have our 1week honeymoon at the polynesian and if our money stretches a 3day disney cruise! or we could stay in disney our first week and get married onsite and then honeymoon on i-drive? ultimately i'll leave the decision up to jo but all advice would be appreciated! thanks hillyjo:wink:

Hey, i would totally do the honeymoon in Disney! I know getting married there would be cool, but you wedding will be lovely no matter where it happens!!
honeymoon at disney would be the best!
just my opinion
congrats btw!

I would also vote for the POly honeymoon. The wedding week is very rushed and you'll have a million appts and family around. To really get the most out of your stay at the Poly I'd wait to be there for a relaxing and fun honeymoon.
I almost got married at the Wyndym but instead changed to the Swan. You should look there too Hilly. There accomodations are beautiful and you could stay there for your wedding week and be closer to the magic. Plus the hotels are awesome :)

thanks for the replies so far! i think it would be quite stressful getting married onsite first week organising family etc! we have never stayed onsite before so would like time to explore the resorts!

We also got married at the Swan, the wedding was perfect and the grounds are beautiful. we spent the week of the wedding at the Dolphin - i thought it would be less stressful for me to be onsite! some of our family stayed at the dolphin, others stayed on idrive - they didnt find it all difficult to get the wedding, just booked a taxi. After the wedding we had a couple more days there then moved to the Wyndham for 2 weeks.
All of our wedding was booked through virgin, payed one price for everything - although we did upgrade our photograph package and flowers. Only 1 day was taken up with wedding stuff, that was the day we went to the courthouse to get the license and met with the co-ordinator to finalise the details - the rest of the time we were free to enjoy ourselves!

The link to my photos is in this section somewhere - ive only got a second to reply to this so cant go looking for them, but you are welcome to have a look if you can find them!
Most of my family didnt stay onsite - mostly due to the cost, and as i mentioned before it really wasnt a problem!

p.s. forgot that there is one in my signature aswell!
