Ashes scattered @ Disney

Have any of you seen this? Although it's probably not very sanitary -- I would love to be scattered somewhere in Disney.

This happened at Disneyland, but at WDW, with it's 42 square miles, I'm sure it happens all the time...

I think somewhere like the lagoon is harder to deal with since it's so large and all it takes is a boat.

I don't agree with doing it inside a ride, but that's just me

Oh no, I don't like the sounds of this at all! I've had water DUMPED on me from the lagoon last year! I think it really creeps me out.

They should keep this under wraps so no one gets the idea to do this from reading the articles.

I've always said my DH can do it discretly whilst walking down Main Street and my dad thinks that's really funny as someone would come right along behind him and sweep me back up :lol:

I can understand someone wanting their eternal resting place to be at the happiest place on earth, but spreading the ashes from a ride? I'd hate to be the passenger that happens to be right behind them.

I think there's better ways to accomplish this. Maybe spread the ashes around Fort Wilderness or some other nature-type place. I think the people probably know it's wrong to do this if they are 'sneaking' the ashes in the park in the first place.

If it where me, I wouldn't want Fort Wilderness. Why? The only time I've spent there was to go to Hoop de Doo once in '06 :shrug:

I have always said to Simon that if I go first then I would like my ashes to be scattered on the lagoon on the way over to Magic Kingdom, I wouldn't dream of just doing it without asking anyone though.

For what I have spent on Disney vacations, souvenirs, collectibles and such the least Disney could do is let some of my ashes be there. Put me in a flower bed if u must.
