I found this article (http://jimhillmedia.com/blogs/jim_hill/archive/2008/01/03/a-pc-haunted-mansion-now-that-s-scary.aspx) at Jim Hill Media.
For me, taking my kids to experience the exact same thing I experienced is half the fun. It's kind of a fun thing to share, but now it seems it will come to an end...at least at the Haunted Mansion :(

It's going to depend on what they say. I've always enjoyed the lines (if the CM used them) that have been used all these years. If the Imagineers have scripted something better - and if the CMs do, in fact, have to attend acting classes (some of them could definitely use them...) - it could be a major improvement. I guess I'll have to wait and see!
Some of the CMs really seem to enjoy being there and enjoy the role they are playing. Some seem to want to work there so they don't have to talk with anyone if they don't want. Just look surly and move people along!

i couldn't get the article to load (my dial up is not nice to me at all most of the time). But i have to say when i first saw the thread i got so excited. I thought the PC was meaning a computer game was coming out for HM:D hehehe
I am not sure what we are talking about, lol, but i do agree with wdwgrandma that i think a lot of the workers there like it because they can be surly & it's ok. We have had some really good ones & some that were just ok.

Well, I'm usually the first one to shudder when I hear about changes to my favorite attraction. But this could be a good thing for HM! Well, as long as the lines aren't delivered as badly as some of the "pilots" on the Jungle Cruise (or the Movie Ride) rattle out their dialog. Some put feeling and emotion into it. They "make" it funny! Some have good comedic timing. Some just mumble the lines, more or less to get it over with, I think.
