If we're driving from MCO to Port Orleans Riverside, which is the most convenient and easy to get to supermarket (to stock up on baby food & nappies/diapers)? And how do we get there?
Also, what's the best way to Florida Mall from Beach Club and how long would it take?
:thanks:

I wouldn't say it was the most "convenient" (as in nearest) but the easiest for us from Riverside/Port Orleans was to drive East on the 192 to the end of it, bare right onto the 27 and there is a very large WalMart there (on the right) which seems to be very light on traffic/people. Its basically a very very large Asda (including clothes).
No need to change roads, use maps or anything. When you come out just back down the 192 (at the first junction)
Its about 20-25 minutes though, but an easy drive.
Here's the Google Earth location (paste this into Google Earth)
28°21'19.81"N, 81°40'37.43"W

Jo, whenever we go to the Florida Mall, we head East on I-4 to the Sand Lake Road exit and travel East along Sand Lake for a few miles...it`s well signposted along Sand Lake Road.
I reckon it would take around 20-30 mins from the BC.

Thats what we do to. The advantages of driving in Florida (most of the time) is its pretty much a grid system to get everywhere, so even if its not the quickest routes, pick two roads, turn at their intersection and you'll get there.

The closest market to PO would be Publix. From DTD, take Hotel Plaza Blvd to where it intersects at Crossroad's Plaza (DO NOT BE TEMPTED BY THE OVERPRICED AND YUCKY GOODINGS!!!). Take a RIGHT on 535 and move to the left lane. As you pass under the I-4 overpass you'll take a LEFT onto Vine, heading for the Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine and the Premium Outlets. One you've passed the Outlets you'll take a RIGHT and Publix will be "down the road" on the LEFT. Should take about ten minutes tops to reach from PO/DTD.

Joanne - from MCO go down the Greenway as normal and come off onto 536 (signed EPCOT) but when you get to the junction with 535 turn right towards DTD and then you can turn right into Vineland towards the Premium outlets and Publix is just after that on the left.
