Bit worried guys, just booked my first holiday to disney, although ive just realised that i fly into sanford instead of intl airport, and i dont drive!!! i was hoping to get a taxi or the magical express service...

anyone have any ideas?

Well magical express only goes to intl so thats a no go but there are plenty of taxi services available (one listed at the top of this page you're reading) and I've always had good service from Tiffany Towncars (easy to find on google)

Either way relax and dont worry about it. Though sanford is further away, the cost isnt that much more and the airport itself is usually faster/easier to get through than intl

Rondtrip with tiffany towncars will be $180 ($175 with a coupon on their web page)

Unlike some others, they don't add a forced gratuity onto the price (watch out for that!) so you'll want to factor a tip in as well.

how long is the journey from sanford to disney?

It's probably about an hour depending upon traffic and the route the driver takes.

I always figure that the time we save by going through the smaller sanford airport is then taken up by the increased journey time to disney and vice versa with intl! In other words, end of the day, actual plane -> disney arrival time doesnt vary much between the two.

Must admit though, Disney Magical express (as long as its free) is an advantage of Orlando International

yea i'd have loved to go via the magical express, but as long as i can get to disney i dont think its the end of the world.
