View Full Version : Wedding at Vero Beach Resort

Mrs. SM and I spent a few days at Disney's Vero Beach Resort a few weekends ago. As we arrived we noticed that the resort was preparing for a wedding later that afternoon. Since it would be an outdoor wedding, we decided to go to the Green Cabin and get a table where we could watch from.

It was the typical Florida/outdoors/key lime decorated wedding. These are the photos I took.

That's what I said!

From what the pastor said during the ceremony, after their honeymoon they are going on a missionary trip and then he is joining the seminary.

That's interesting. I was amazed at the size of the wedding party for a small outdoor wedding. My daughter is getting married in June and we are convinced her wedding party is too big but they both have large families and can't ask one brother or sister without the other.

It's a great vantage point, isn't it? I saw a wedding on that lawn while visiting Vero Beach a few years ago. They weren't set up for the reception there though. I remember feeling very sorry for the bride. The lovebugs were miserable and got caught up in her veil... ick.

My sister was married in October (granted, not in FLorida) and it was a beautiful day. Warm, with not one speck of humidity.

October in Florida is a lovely time! :yes: So, on the beach in October. Perfect. I'll bring some lobsters from Mainely Lobster, ok? Are you planning on a big wedding? (Need to know how many lobsters to bring). :wink: LOL! (Nothin' like inviting myself to the event)! LOL! :hug:

The weather that day was just perfect! Low-70's, light breeze, you couldn't ask for a more perfect Florida outdoors weeding :yes:
