If you could build one ride or attraction in WDW what would it be? Maybe there is a favourite film that has never been given full credit in the parks or maybe it's an idea that you have always been burning to share.

Post you ideas on this thread and let's see what sorts of things people come up with.

I would like to see a Disney Princess Ride, where it would be the best scenes of each movie & you would ride a magic carpet ride (soarin-style).

It would also be great to have add'l rides in the World Showcase at Epcot. Like a Gondola ride thru Italy. My kids enjoy Japan so much & would love a ride that explains their culture/mythologies. I enjoy the Norway Boat Ride , although Mexico is cheesy.

I would also like Spain to be added to the World Showcase.

If I was to build any attraction I think it would have to be a hanging rollercoaster based on the door scene from Monster Inc. It would also incorporate a dark ride element.

You'd start by boarding your vehicle in the Scare floor area and are lifted up to the track. In front and behind you are a number of doors to give you an idea that you are part of the door transportation system. The ride exits the scare floor and immediately becomes a rollercoaster.

You follow the dips and turns and in the distance on another track , possibly projected, you can see randell with Boo, nipping into other doors.

You eventually see a door appear in front of you and pass through it. This is were the dark ride element comes in. You end up in the antarctic and feel the chill, it;s snowing etc. Here you meet an animatronic abominable snowman, as from the film. You exit through another door back into the roller coaster element and take a few more dips and turns still following randall and then enter another door. This one is the scare floor practise room and you see the model boy in bed. He is about to be scared by another monster. As the monster roars, the vehicle hurtles down another drop and begins its return to the scare floor. Just before you return to the unloading area, the car turns to one side and (al la Haunted Mansion) you are faced with mirrors and a digital Boo is projected into your ride car as if you have managed to save her. Mike and Sully can be seen congratulating you from behind. You exit into a Monsters Inc Store and counter service restaurant where all the food has funny sounding monster names. A Monstropolis burger is double the size of a big mac etc.

What do you think?

What do you think?I was going to suggest some sort of Monsters Inc. ride, but I couldn't have begun to describe it like you did. :D

A Mary Poppins type of ride where you fly sort of Peter Pan like with the umbrellas and the carpet rides. It would cater to 4-? age group. I havn't worked out the details, the project is still in development in my mind!

I guess great minds think a like, because I've definatly been working on two of the rides you've mentioned. One being a Pocahontas Splash Mountain type ride, the other being a "Genie's Magic Carpet Tour of Acraba"

Great ride Adam!!!! It sounds so cool!

I'd love to see more counties in the world showcase too.... I think Inida would be a good one - definitely a good table service opportunity there :D
