They do have an electric parade but only on certain nights of the week I believe.
There are no fireworks :( They have these in the summer.
Just keep an open mind Pink, it's not like WDW but hey it's a Disney fix and it does have it's own magic moments.

exactly! i think to be fair i'm gonna be so excited anyway, trying to keep me still for long enough is gonna be a task in itself. its probably just me but the DLRP website doesnt cover quite as much as the WDW site and i'm finding myself asking loads of questions. i cant believe that DLRP is so close to me but i have never been in all these years its been open.

I copied this from the brochure:
Disney's Fairytale Christmas
8th November 2008 – 6th January 2009
• Sleeping Beauty Castle transforms into an ice palace.
• Snowflakes and magical decors on Main Street.
• One of the tallest Christmas trees you’ve ever seen!
• Meet ‘n’ greet with Santa Claus in his toy workshop - what a cool yule!
• An unforgettable ceremony and a glimmering, shimmering night time parade.
The snow on Main Street is really nice. You get a flurry about every 15 minutes :D

 Glad to be of service!
Yeah the snow only falls on Main St though. Still, it all adds to the atmosphere :)
The castle looks very pretty when it's lit up. It's actually a really nice castle and is much more accessible than the one at WDW.
My only real gripe about DLP is the lack of manners from other people and the disorganisation of character meet n' greets. But I don't want to put you off...
Just keep an open mind and enjoy the Christmas spirit :D It's Disney after all!

Santa was tucked away in one of the lands inside his grotto last year but Goofy-Santa holds court on main st.The snow is great and you'll quickly get used to the music they play as it starts so you can grab your camera :)
