Over the past couple of years i have taken up cake decorating and card making, along with scrapbooking and other things I really have no time for:wink:. However, my kids are LOVING their special birthday cakes. I thought I'd share a few of my favorite Disney themed ones with you

I know Zip-A-Dee-Do-Dah is spelling wrong on this cake, but it's kind of a running joke...

Lightening McQueen was one of the first ones I did, but it turned out okay.

What other crafts has "Disney" made it's way into for you?

Very cool cakes....my birthday's in July! I've made a few Disney bracelets, but i'm not clever enough to make the polymer beads myself so I buy them off Ebay and just thread them on. :hehe:

I love to make Disney character inspired cards! I've even made a Disney "explosion" box.. Don't worry. It's just called that. It's really a sort of small scrapbook in box form that opens out when you remove the lid.

I love those explosion boxes. A Disney one would be awesome. If you have a moment, would you mind posting a picture?

I wish I could... But I gave the Mickey exploding box to BevW - somehow without taking pictures!!!!

But if you go to this link Exploding Box (http://wdisneyw.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63868) you can see pictures of the Christmas one I made and gave to my DD. Sorry the pictures aren't the best... Someone else also posted pictures of a gorgeous one they made!
