We have choosen our seats in the bubble, although I know it is not guaranteed.
What is it like there? I am very nervous about flying and thought it might be more relaxed there, but am concerned that it might feel a little claustrophobic.

I have ever only ridden in the bubble once. That was on a first class flight many years ago when the bubble was used strictly as a first class lounge. It didnt' feel claustrophobic at all.

It's the upper deck of (typically) a 747. On virgin flights from MAN and LGW to MCO there are 42 premium economy seats up there. The seats are in pairs either side of the aisle. There are 2 loos at the front of the cabin and usually 2 cabin crew. It is usually much quieter than economy but doesn't feel claustrophobic. :)

It's much more relaxing up there IMO. Here's a pic I took of the cabin. (http://www.wdisneyw.com/photos/showphoto.php?photo=3972&sort=1&cat=583&page=2) You can walk around the rest of the aircraft if you like, but most people just stroll to the back and stretch their legs near the galley where there's a fruit bowl, drinks on a tray and newspapers.

We are hoping to be on the upper deck in April:fingers:
We did go in the 'bubble' on a TCD 747 many years ago and even though it was a bit worn I liked the fact there were fewer people up there.

We loved how quiet it was up there, the problem I have now is that my wife won't sit anywhere else. She hates flying but found being up there much better than down with the crowds.

Thinking of booking PE for February definitely for the return trip and possibly for the outbound flight. Is it worth the extra money and is the night flight more comfortable? That is always the downside for me going to Orlando.

I guess it depends on your budget. For us, it is 100% worth the extra. However, we are lucky that we don't have to balance it against other parts of our holiday that we might have to go without.
When we went with friends in 2004, they didn't want to pay extra as they wanted to go to Discovery Cove and couldn't afford both.
1 - The extra legroom is nice
2 - having your luggage in a compartment next to you rather than above your head is great if you take electrical items like I-pods or Nintendo DS's.
3 - being allowed to board sooner is great
4 - having a fast dedicated queue at downtown is great. I have seen normal fliers having to queue up to an hour on their last day, whereas we were 10 mins max

Thanks, luckily the budget side isn't an issue, so looks like PE it is.
