Katie, Hayley is currently planning a WDW wedding. Bec and Kate as well as Joanne&Jon have gotten married there as well. Be patient, they'll come .

Don't panic. There are enough of us on these threads that have attended, organised or had their wedding in WDW. I have only been to one in the Wedding Pavilion by the Grand Floridian but did have my Honeymoon out there.
Don't be afraid to ask any question, no matter how stupid you think it is. I can guarantee that comeone has asked it before or has thought it once upon a time.

Hiya Katie,
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
We were married in the WDW wedding pavillion in March 05. After our wedding we held a cake and champagne reception on commanders terrace in the GF and then had a meal in Chef's domaine in Citricos at the GF.
What would you like to get married? Have you booked your wedding through a travel agent? Is it an intimate or large wedding?
Im sure we can help with questions you may have.

Sounds great:thumbs: I havent got any experience with Thomson or the Swan unfortunately. Rosie and Kate are the experts on the Swan:)
But if you have questions I will try my best to help.

Pop is a great little resort to stay at. Your guests should be quite bleased with that decision . My sister has stayed at the Swan three times. She says it's a great resort.
I don't think you can really go wrong having a wedding at the most magical place in the world :hehe:. Can't wait to see your photos!!!

Hi Katie! :congrats: on the upcoming wedding! How exciting! I did get married at the Swan (acutally today is my 3rd anny!!) and it was great. We had a ceremony (ours had to be moved inside due to rain) and a cake and champagne reception at the Swan and then we moved the party to Ohana's and had dinner there. Our wedding was at 5:00 and we had the room for the cake for about 1.5 hours after that. They weren't really strict about the time in there. We also had veggies and fruit trays brought in since our dinner wasn't until 9:00pm.
It will seem like a long time before they start planning with you but they really do a wonderful job. My wedding cake was the BEST cake ever and staying at the Swan is SOOOO nice! That resort is really beautiful and the rooms are the best!
Feel free to ask me any questions. I'll try to help!
