August 2009 Disney Brit/UOG Mini Meet

Well.......

There are so many of us going to WDW in August next year I have decided that it is time to get something organised. The sooner we can sort it the better.

I propose a day at the Magic Kingdom and some point during August. I thought we could arrange a group ride on something, a trivia Quiz and group photo plus other things that people may suggest. What does everyone think? We could arrange t-shirts/lanyards/registration at a later date.

Who would be interested in coming along?

I might be tempted to share a firework cruise with a group (if I can persuade SWMBO to go on a "smaller boat".

As we haven't booked our meals etc yet (too early), can't commit on when though.

We are likely to do MK on the EMH (night) days as well, so thats a given for us that it would have to be one of those days. (again once they are announced). I presume not everyone is on site and doing EMHS...

Yes please, something during the daytime or early evening would be best since Ben will only have just turned two, we can't stay out too late :)

We'll be there in August too and nearer the time when we've made our ADR's will be up for meeting. Last year a few of us met for a drink and then went on a fireworks cruise which was really nice - I'm sure we could get something organised when we know how many people will be interested.

Unfortunately, we will be flying out on the morning of the 2nd August - have a great time though! :thumbs:

We'll be in the parks the last week of Aug. I'd love to meet any and all of you from across the pond or from here in the states. A lanyard or t-shirt to help ID members so you can go up and say hi would be a great way to have spontanious meetings throughout the day: in addition to any planned group ride or firework meetings. Hope to meet some of you and say Hi
