We usually get a lift, but we were thinking of driving ourselves to Manchester airport this time round. We will be staying in a Travelodge the night before. We were hoping some of you might be able to make some good suggestions for secure parking :)

I've parked with NCP Flightpath and its been a very good experience.

Why not stay at a hotel that offers free parking. We have stayed at various hotels around the airport and have never had any bother. I think the holiday inn had the best offer last time £85 including 14 days parking.

I would suggest similar - last time we from there went we stayed at Manchester Hilton. Family room (for 5 people) and 22 days parking was just over £150 :thumbs:

We have always used the long stay car park at Manchester. We have never had a problem, it is prebookable which does save you money, but you can pay on your return.

You park the car yourself and they run regular buses to the terminal, last time when we returned the driver took us right upto the car an helped unload the luggage, never had this before so must have caught him on a good day lol.

If you didnt want a hotel room then airport gold parking (formally premier park and lots of other things, seems like it changes its name once a year lol) it is right next to the airport takes just a couple of minutes to get there. Very easy to find (just on thorley lane) It is the one that a lot of the airport staff use so you know that it is going to be secure. In the years that I worked there I never and never heard from anyone else of any problems.
