Help form our USA Cousins - SatNav

I have been using a smartphone with satnav the past few florida trips...tomtom and purchased the st.cloud map. however I have now upgraded to an iphone which doesnt have satnav as such and using data for google maps can work out very expensive.
We have a trip planned for easter going to San Fran/LA and then onto Vegas...I could revert back to the old smart phone and try and get the maps for theses areas..or consider paying extra on the car hire to get satnav included.....or.....purchase a satnav kit from the usa which will have these maps included..then i can use it for all my future USA trips.....satnavs have come down a lot in price in the UK..so i'm assuming this is likewise in USA?
Can anyone point me in the direction of any USA online stores that sell SatNavs?

Amazon and halfords have special offers on for sat navs with USA maps at the moment. :)

i cant find any below £300 from Halfords...and nothing on Amazon.co.uk site....have you any links?

if you google usa sat nav and ask for uk results a few suppliers are available :)

Darren have you tried ebay shops, most of the US one will ship to Europe. That is how we bought our US sat nav.

To get an idea of local purchase as you get off the plane - try looking up Walmart online - they won't ship - but make them your first stop once you arrive.
