Hi Folks

just wondering if anyone knows if VA are still flying direct from Glasgow to Orlando (in 2009) - I've tried looking online but can't find anything.

Many thanks
Shelly.

They sure are, the Manchester flight stops off for you - only July - Aug if I recall correctly - 4rd July - 18th July (just the first dates I tried) is bookable now for £909.80 per adult

Or you could fly BA to London and then over the pond for a great deal less

When I looked into this it was a few select days in July and August, not daily.

Thanks for your replies. £909 per adult is just a tad expensive...lol...
We were there in November and flew BA Aberdeen to London - then London to Orlando. (Yeah it was for a hell of alot less)...
The only thing I was trying to do was cut out 1 flight - I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old - we went through the whole security thing in Orlando and that was fine (they were great, let me take aload of stuff on the flight for the little ones) then had to go through it all in London again before the flight to Aberdeen (they weren't so nice - the practically made me dump my entire baby bag.
I know it's a requirement and it has to be done and I should expect this when travelling with little ones - but we stood in the security queue in London for the best part of 2 hours - nearly missed our connection back to Aberdeen.
What I was thinking is if we could get a flight direct from Glasgow to Orlando, then we could drive to Glasgow and we're only doing the security thing once each way instead of twice.
Lol, but at that price - it's okay, we'll deal with the security thing.....

Thanks again for your replies.

Shelly.
