Dont know if any one can help me on this one , We are booked to go with Budget in April and we have beem allocated a intermidiate car which we want to upgrade to a minivan so we have more room , Our travel agent want £120 for the two weeks to upgrade, Does any one know if its cheaper to upgrade at the airport and has any one not been able to do this as theres none availiable , If its only a matter of a few dollars difference I wouldnt want to risk it or do I?

I'd take the travel agents price because I don't think you'll switch from an intermediate to a minivan for less than the $12 dollars a day your £120/14days works out to :thumbs:

If you'd have booked it through someone like Alamo the difference is about £100 for the two weeks. Its really up to you, is its worth haggling over £20? Remember trying to upgrade on the day depends on what they have. If you book a 7 seater mini-van before you arrive they have to supply you that or better.

Take the agents price, as we are always a sucker at the car hire desk for upgrading from a full size car to a Huge SUV. We pay way more than what your agent has quoted you. The mini vans are similar if not more in price than the large SUV's depending on how many seats your talking about. Take it before it goes up!!!
