Is there a separate desk for PE and Upper Class passengers or does everyone stand in the same queue?
Thanks. :)

There's a separate line to stand in and you'll be taken to the next available desk. :)

We have used it twice when flying PE and both times there was no one in front of us in the PE/Upper queue  There were several families in the Economy queue though!

We went at 12.45, and there was no one else there. we just checked our bags and off we went. It brilliant:D
When we got to the airport later the queues were huge, at least 1 hour, im so glad we didnt have to do that!

We just avoided it altogether and spent 6 hours at the Animal Kingdom instead. We then caught the DME to the airport. We did have to queue for about half an hour but they still have to give you a seat just the same so it was worth it for that extra time in the parks.

Another question - can you check in online and drop off your bags at DTD or do you have to actually be checking in there?

You still have to queue to have your bags weighed /labelled etc. I imagine there'd be a riot if they allowed people to jump the queue for that. :hehe: Every single bag is weighed now.

I checked in online in November last year, but wasn't given the option of printing my boarding cards - unlike the UK. So I still had to wait in the PE line for bag weigh and boarding cards. It doesn't take long.
Katie :)
PS - one of my bags was 31.5 Kg - Phew!! All my bags had 'heavy bag' stickers on them, can't imagine why.

We weren't able to check in on line on the way out so we thought it would be pointless to try on the way back and we still had to get the luggage weighed anyway.
There were three flights, Manchester Gatwick and Heathrow all checking in at one desk and the queue was longer that the one for TSM, believe you me!
Its like the DME drops you off at the door and its back to reality with a huge bump!

So is there not a seperate online checkin line at Orlando like there is at Manchester?

Yes ther definitely is a separate check-in for Premium/Upper at DTD check in. If you are early & they haven't got the sign out, just go to the right of the main queue and tell one of the Virgin staff that you are Premium/Upper & they will see to you straight away & get you to the next available desk.

I think from memory there was a separate line for PE at Orlando, but given it was covering 3 flights not one, it was longer than the ones you would get in the UK.

Oh....makes checking in online a bit pointless then..... Maybe we'll just stick with DTD checkin

If you check in online at least you get to choose your seats. Presumably they don't allocate you new seats when you check in again at DTD.
