Free parking after hours?

I read that if you park after a certain hour, like 5pm, you don't have to pay the parking fee. Can anyone confirm 1) if this is true and 2) after what time is it free?

I'm trying to figure out of I can leave to eat dinner offsite and come back to catch a show or a few more rides. Probably won't do that if I have to pay the parking again...

Once you have paid parking you just keep the parking ticket in your window and you don't have to pay again the rest of the day.

If you are staying on site you get free parking in the parks. The resort that you are staying at gives you a parking permit that you must use to get into your resort.

Yes, you don`t have to pay for parking in the evening, we have gone just for the fireworks at about 6-7pm and the pay booths are unmanned. Just drive in and park up.
