We are considering booking flights via Continental which are operated by Virgin for the time we have chosen.
Does this mean we can use DTD for check in on the way home??? - which would be great

This is exactly what we did tinkerbellworld  It saved us over £2,000 too!
It's all exactly the same as a normal Virgin flight  You check in at the Virgin counter from the UK and are free to use the DTD check in on the way home if you like too

Do some people still have to pay to use the DTD check in? If that i still the case, you may have to pay a small amount as you have a Continental ticket and are not a VH customer.
