How long does it take to go from the Contemporary to Poly, roughly :shrug:

It's been so long we've forgotten :eek: The monorail goes in the order of: TTC, Poly, GF, MK, CR and back to TTC again right? :unsure:

Hi,
The resort monorail from the MK to the TTC stops first at the Contemporary, then the TTC, then the Polynesian, the Grand Floridian, then the Magic Kingdom.

The stopping service operates clockwise on the inner track stopping at the TTC, Polynesian Resort, Grand Floridian Resort, Magic Kingdom, and Contemporary Resort. The full loop take about 30 minutes including extended loading and unloading times at MK and TTC. I would guess from this that Poly to CR is about 20 minutes.

If Poly To CR is 20 mins, I'd imagine CR to Poly (only stopping at TTC in the middle) would only take 10!!

You'd think so but it doesn't work that way. The stopping service only runs clockwise whereas the express (TTC and MK only) runs anti-clockwise. As there are only two lines, one is to keep the flow of people going between TTC and MK and the other runs more slowly all day to serve the monorail resorts.

We'll give it about 30mins to be safe - definitely don't want our ADR to be given away because we're late!!! We're just a bit tight on timing one day :hehe:

I timed it for you. Exactly 4 mins 30 seconds from Contemp to Poly! :D
