I have made a planning dilemma that needs input from those of you who have been there done that :D
I have a special night out planned for the wife and I with tickets for Cirqu Su Solie and dinner at Le Cellier in Epcot...the dilemma is how to get from DTD to Epcot  I'm thinking the best way would be to take a bus to an Epcot resort and then enter from there...but what resort is within walking distance to Epcot?? Is there a boat launch from DTD to the International Gateway? I want to know my game plan before we are there so any input would be greatly appreciated.

Boardwalk is a resort that you can walk to from EP going through the WS over the International Gateway . There may be a boat that connects, that I don't know about because we never can afford to stay at that one :sigh:. SOMEONE will know.

Better to be painted into a corner like that, rather than it's raining and I have no umbrella .

George-
Take the Boardwalk bus and walk through the lobby of the Boardwalk to the boat launch. The boat takes you to the Gateway and you can walk into WS and head straight down the walkway to Canada. Do not turn on the bridge go towards UK and you are there.

My question is, at what time is your Le Cellier reservation?

Assuming you are going to the 6:00 show, it runs 90 minutes, so you will not be on your way out until 7:30-7:45. If your reservation is any earlier than between 8:00 and 8:10, chances are you might miss it. After 8:10 you will be ok. But remember, it's an Advanced Dining Reservation, another phrase to what Disney calls a Priority Seating, you could be 10 to 15 minutes late if you cannot help it and they will still seat you.

The fastest way to get to Le Cellier is to take a taxi from Cirque du Soleil to Boardwalk and walk to Epcot through International Gateway. Click here (http://www.usatf.org/routes/view.asp?rID=308471) to see the route you will take.

The taxi ride will take less than 10 minutes and the walk (0.67 miles) you can easily do in about 15 minutes.

Make sure you tell the driver you are going to Boardwalk, do not mention Epcot or he/she might take you to Epcot's main entrance which will add about 30 minutes extra to your trip.

Beach Club is also close . I even think its closer than Boardwalk . I felt like we had Epcot/WS in our back yard when staying at The Beach Club . Either take a bus to Beach Club or a taxi and walk over . Canada is the second country after going through the turnstiles . You'll pass the UK and then you'll be in Canada . :)

I thought about that but the walk is almost the same distance (0.67 miles from BW, 0.56 miles from BC) and the taxi would have to go around to get to Beach Club.

BW is a straight shot directly off of Buena Vista Drive from DTD, since time seems to be critical here, the simpler the better.
